How to Apply Semi-Cured Gel Nails

What You’ll Need:

• Semi-cured gel nail strips
• Nail file
• Cuticle pusher
• Nail buffer
• Alcohol wipes
• UV/LED nail lamp
• Scissors (optional)

Step 1: Prep Your Nails

1. Clean Your Nails: Wash your hands and use an alcohol wipe to remove any oil or residue.
2. Push Back Cuticles: Use a cuticle pusher to gently push back your cuticles for a clean application.
3. Shape & Buff: Trim and file your nails, then lightly buff the surface for better adhesion.

Step 2: Apply the Semi-Cured Gel Strips

1. Choose the Right Size: Pick a gel strip that best fits each nail. If it's too big, you can trim it slightly with scissors.
2. Peel & Stick: Carefully peel off the strip and apply it to your nail, starting near the cuticle and pressing outward to avoid air bubbles.
3. Smooth It Out: Use your fingers or a cuticle stick to press and smooth the strip evenly onto your nail.

Step 3: Cure Under UV/LED Lamp

1. Cure for 60-90 Seconds: Place your nails under a UV/LED lamp for 60-90 seconds until they fully harden. The gel will become firm and glossy.
2. Check for Firmness: If needed, cure for an additional 30 seconds for extra durability.

Step 4: Shape & Finish

1. File Off Excess: Use a nail file to remove any overhanging gel strip by filing in a downward motion.
2. Final Touch: Lightly buff the edges if needed to smooth them out.
3. (Optional) Apply Top Coat: For extra shine and durability, you can apply a gel top coat and cure again.

Removal Instructions

• Soak a cotton pad in nail polish remover (preferably acetone).
• Place it on the nail and wrap it with foil for 10-15 minutes.
• Gently lift the strip off using a cuticle pusher.
